Banana Coconut Mix and a Break

Sunday, September 27, 2009

Hi friends,

This is another very popular kerala dish. I exactly don't know the name of this recipe, thats why i have kept it as banana coconut mix, so malayali's don't mistake me.(lol).
We are going to our native tomorrow for my baby's rice giving (chor unnu) function at guruvayoor temple. So, i will surely be missing all of you for a while. Will be back after a week i.e next monday.
Till then take care!

Ingredients:

Nendhram pazham - 2 (cut into pieces)

Coconut - 1 cup (grated)

Sugar - 1 tsp

Method:

1) Heat water in a pan, add the cut bananas and let it boil till fully cooked.

2) Add the grated coconut and sugar and stir for 2 minute. Simmer till the water is fully reduced. Serve Hot.
