Pazham Pori

Wednesday, September 23, 2009

This is a typical kerala recipe, one of my favourite too...My mom's recipe and its very simple to make..

Ingredients:

Rice flour - 1 cup

Gram flour - 1 cup

Sugar - 1 tsp

Ripe Nendhram Banana - 3 or 4

Method:

1) Slit cut the banana's into 2/3 medium sized pieces. Keep aside.

2) Mix rice flour, gram flour, sugar and little water to make a thick gravy like batter.

3) Heat oil in pan for deep fry, dip the banana pieces one by one in the flour batter and put it in the oil pan. Fry till it turns light brown both sides. Serve Hot.
