Saturday, November 7, 2009

Ingredients:

Maida - 2 cups

Coconut - 1 cup

Jaggery - 1/2 cup

Sugar - 1 cup

Raisin - 1/2 cup

Ghee - 3 tsp

Method:

1) Fry maida in a pan till it becomes light brown. Keep aside.

2) Heat water in pan, add the sugar and let it boil till it becomes a sugar syrup. Add jaggery and ghee, stir till it completely dissolves.

3) Add coconut and stir for 2 minutes. Now add the maida slowly in low flame and stir till it becomes a thick paste.

4) Pour the content in a non sticky oil paper, garnish with raisins, freeze it for 1/2 hr. Cut in desired shape and serve.
