Chickpeas Corn Snack and award

Ingredients:

Chickpeas (brown) - 1 cup (pressure cooked)

Bread - 1 slice (cut into squares)

Corn - 1/2 cup

Peas - 1/2 cup

Chilly powder - 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Chaat masala powder - 1/2 tsp

Lime juice - 1 tsp


Method:

1) Heat oil in pan, add the cooked black peas, corn, bread pieces and peas, saute them for few minutes.

2) Now add chilly powder, salt, chaat masala powder and saute in low flame till the raw taste goes off. Take it out, put them in a serving bowl and sprinkle some lime juice on it. Serve hot.

Mango Muffins

Ingredients:

All purpose flour - 1 bowl

Baking powder - 1 tsp

Mango - 1 no (peeled n chopped)

Almonds - 1 tsp

Raisins - 1 tsp

Demerara sugar - 1 cup

Ghee - 1/2 cup

Egg - 1 no


Method:

1) Shift the flour, baking powder, sugar together. In a separate bowl, beat the egg with 5 tsp of ghee till bubbles form on surface.

2) Now blend the chopped mango pieces in a blender and take the pulp. Now mix the pulp with the egg - ghee mixture and stir well.

3) Pour the egg mixture with the flour and blend well adding almonds and raisins to it.

4) Preheat the oven at 250 degree. Grease the muffin maker with ghee, pour the batter (half) in each hole and bake it at 220 degree for 11-12 minutes or till fully baked.

5) Let it cool for sometime and serve.

Ingredients:

Apple - 1 no (cut)

Mint leaves - 1 tsp

Milk - 1 cup

Sugar (or) Honey - 2 tsp


Method:

1) Blend all these ingredients with little water till well blend. Pour in a serving glass, add crushed ice and serve.

Weaning Recipe - Chicken Rice for kids

Hello frds,

This is a rice variety which i used to give to my 1 year old boy. He likes it so much, so i used to give him often. This is a tasty weaning recipe made of simple ingredients including chicken (which most of the people used to give to their kids, above 1 yr).

Ingredients:

Chicken pieces (flesh) - 3-4 nos

Tomato - 1 no

Cumin seeds - 1 tsp

Garlic - 1 pod

Potato - 1/2 (peeled)

Rice - 1 cup (uncooked)

Turmeric powder - 1 pinch

Pepper powder - 1 pinch

Salt to taste

Ghee - 1 tsp


Method:

1) Pressure cook all these above ingredients except salt and ghee till they are fully cooked.

2) Drain the water and blend them with salt and ghee (according to your consistency). serve hot.

Hi friends:

Thank you so much for your wishes, dears!...I really enjoyed in my mom's place. and now back to work (in hubby's place).

Ingredients:

Curd - 1 bowl

Ginger - 1 inch (chopped)

Curry leaves

Green chillies - 2 nos (chopped)

Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp

Salt to taste


Method:

1) Mix the curd with 1/2 glass of water and blend well.

2) Add the other ingredients and blend well again. Pour it in a serving glass, put some crushed ice and serve.
